Adventurers

WELCOME TO ADVENTURERS AT TRINITY HOUSE

My twins first day at nursery is one I’ll never forget.  As a parent, entrusting your children to someone else requires the most enormous leap of faith, but after the initial rounds of tears (twins and parents) seeing the boys develop and flourish made it all the worth the while.

As a first-time parent there was a lot to take on board, and I worried about the transition from home to another setting, how our routine would be affected, the boy’s nutrition and their naps, but most of all I worried about their safety.  I had a list of key criteria, from Ofsted ratings, key person ratios, quality of staff, outdoor facilities to opening times to suit our working routine.

Ultimately my list went out the window and I didn’t fall for the most beautiful setting; I fell for the people I met and specifically the key person that would be entrusted with my boys' care.

You’ll find some key highlights below, but there’s no substitute for meeting our team.  We encourage you to call and visit, come meet us and get a feel for whether our key people are a fit for you and your family.

When designing the Baby Room at Trinity House, we focused on ensuring the surroundings are right – that the design, layout and facilities in room can support a baby’s developmental needs at this age.  This was the age my boys learned to smile, to roll, to crawl, to sit, to balance, to mirror sounds and to wean!

Every day was a big adventure for these two little people.

It's all about the routine!

We know how important sticking to the right nap and meal times are at this age – the slightest deviation can throw any work life balance you have out of the window!

Home from home for us means that at this age we work around you and your routine.

Mirroring your home routine also ensures a smoother transition into nursery life.

How do we support our little Adventurers?

Whether it be indoors or outdoors, heuristic or sensory, your baby will be learning and developing whilst in our care. They will be rolling and crawling, learning to reach and grasp, and building their communication skills during their time in Adventurers!

We focus on the EYFS framework and encourage learning through play.

Food & Nutrition

All our food is freshly prepared daily on site by our Chef and we cater for all religious and dietary needs. For younger babies starting to wean, we provide pureed fruits and vegetables before introducing other foods in accordance with any dietary requirements you may have. We can store warm bottles for feeds, we just ask you to label them accordingly. Children with allergies and food intolerances are supported.

How can we support you as a parent?

Whether your baby is in nursery so you can focus on returning to work or to provide a few hours respite and time to catch up on life, you’ll be supported by your Key Person. At the end of each day you will receive a summary of your babies feeds, naps and key activities.

Our highly trained and knowledgeable staff will play and encourage your babies development, and will also support you on that journey as it continues at home!
